We have finally received our 501 (c) (3) status!

So what does this status mean for us and our members?

This status makes LSES an official, Louisiana tax exempt organization. Now, all donations we receive can be used to put forth solar efforts in our state. This status has opened so many doors for our organization. LSES can now apply for grants and do more outreach in the community. Also, our LA Solar Pros and our members can deduct their donations when filing their taxes.

It has been almost a year long task for LSES. The journey had begun with our previous LSES State Coordinator Lindsay Gallmann and our Executive Director Jeff Shaw. We would like to especially thank both of them for their hard work and determination.
