Green Rebuilding of New Orleans Conference

The Louisiana Environmental Action Network is hosting The Green Rebuilding of New Orleans Conference: 4 Years Post Katrina

When: Sunday and Monday, November 8th and 9th

Where: Doubletree Hotel in downtown New Orleans, 300 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

Registration: $25 General Admission, $20 Sierra Club members and students, $60 Early Bird Professional registration (for those who plan to apply for continuing education credits)

What: The first annual post-Katrina conference is designed to promote and open discussion on the past progress and future continuation of green rebuilding practices since the storm.

Highlights: 16 educational sessions with over 40 speakers, bus tour of current and past New Orleans green building projects, reception/mixer with silent auction and live local music, and book signing and speech by award-winning author Rebecca Solnit.
